A little off topic (and apologies for resurrecting an old thread) but has anyone on here redeemed Etihad Guest miles on Air NZ?

Have some from some time I spent in the Gulf, and as they expire after two years am pretty keen to use them.

I've had a look at the redemption chart (http://www.etihadairways.com/sites/E...w-zealand.aspx), and have found what seems like a reasonable 'sweet-spot' - AKL-NOU flights.

Webflyer suggests it's a 1150 mile flight, comfortably enough under the 1250 mile limit to only cost 13,000 Etihad Guest miles.

Or have I got something competely wrong?
