We have stayed a couple of times at the idyllic and remote Locanda Cipriani on the Island of Torcello in Venice. I believe it has 6 rooms. It is owned by the Harry's Bar family, not any relation to the Hotel Cipriani. This is where Hemingway wrote "Over the River and Into the Trees" in which he mentions Harry's Bar many times. This tiny hotel is a jewel box. Also serves some of the best food in Venice and most of the produce is grown in their gardens.
