Too lazy right now to double check if anyone else has posted this but, it looks like UA and AA are "competing" on IAD-DFW.
Airfarewatchdog reports IAD-DFW on AA as low as $175, but I'm finding fares on UA (see example below) as low as $151.20 r/t a/i.
10.25 IAD-DFW 18:50 ET-19:59 CT A319 1,171pqm
10.28 DFW-IAH 05:30 CT-06:41 CT 737-8 224pqm (500pqm with elite status)
10.28 IAH-IAD 07:20 CT-11:24 ET 737-9 1,190pqm
= 2,862pqm or 3.0pqs (with elite status) for $151.20 a/i r/t 5.3cpm ($116.00pqd 4.1cpm)
Lots of fares well under $200 throughout October. Makes me feel silly that I pulled the trigger on a $200 fare IAD-DFW earlier.
