Fyi, next Friday (Oct 10) there is a 320 or 321 on all flights YYC-YYZ, except the 0615.
Thanks for offering some insight. I would say that my observation (completely anecdotal) after flying this route for many years is that sometime in the fall AC usually reduces the amount of capacity, and frequency, on YYC-YYZ and YYZ-YYC and that is kind of not great.

Going YYZ-YYC it is fabulous to have flights every hour from 4 to 9 PM. Going to every two hours, and going from 321s to 319 and E90 is tough. And I have to say that given that this route is almost always 100% sold when I fly it that I think that this year the reduction in capacity is a mistake. Just my thoughts. I looking at it, I can only assume that some of this is fleet realignment given new routes and 787 and winter schedules too, not that somebody at AC would necessarily reduce capacity like this if they had a choice.
