I've never considered myself an extravagant tipper but the valet numbers being given here (although they all seem pretty consistent) are lower than what I would have thought. Do you tip every time you leave or just when checking out?

I was basically taught to only tip when checking out (although I think may need to change that), but for an overnight stay I don't think I've ever given less than $5, but often do $10 if it's a few days and I go in and out a few times.
