Elk Causes Plane Crash
WARRENTON, Ore. -- A small jet crashed Tuesday morning after striking an elk on the runway.

According to workers at the Astoria Regional Airport near Warrenton, the plane was taking off around 6:15 a.m. when it hit the animal.
