you can use all your points once you've reached 2000 points

but you can use less than your total balance

and also you may only spend multiples of 2000

meaning that:

- you have 14k, you will be able to spend 14, not less

- you have 9k: you will be able to spend 8k (or you have 8001 points, you can spend 8000)
