Finally I can load more photo's.

I left the lounge at T-40, and the walk from the lounge to the gate area is empty. There are no shops, cafe's - nothing. Our boarding passes were checked, and we entered the holding pen. The area was stuffy, and there is not enough room for all the passengers on a 787.

When boarding was finally called, the staff tried to board J class and Elites first. The gate is not designed to have separate queues. A quick walk down the air bridge, which happens to have three steps (why they could not have built a ramp??? - hang on they added a lift for passengers who could not walk the three steps down. A full sized lift to take passengers down all of less then 1 meter. Do I smell a rat here???).





Overall the new terminal is a pleasant experience. Just lacks enough shops and a spread out of food outlets.
