At issue are a citizenship requirement for federal screeners and a preemployment test that the current workers allege is discriminatory.
Why is being required to be a citizen and able to past a preemployment test discriminatory? I have had to take plenty of preemployment tests for various jobs I have held. </font>
I believe the article questioned why someone had to be a
citizen in order to do this job? I believe that non-citizens are allowed to serve and
DIE for this country while serving in the armed forces, and yet they aren't good enough to work as a security moron? Come on, try a better excuse.
I absolutely agree though that a pre-employment test to determine a minimum level of brain cell activity is appropriate and is in no way racist discriminatory.
The real issue is why 69% of the screeners are male? Just when I thought my chances were getting better of being groped by a woman while going through security.
