It's not a question of being search averse.
The search facillity here is so bad that it won't allow searches on things like "NF" or "777" which leaves two unappealing alternatives - either wade through hundreds of posts with many answers that don't mention which aircraft they are talking about, or ask again.
I wouldn't call myself search averse at all, but I recently spent hours poring through one of these mega-threads and literally ended up none the wiser about my question. Serendipitously the next day someone asked exactly the same question in a new thread, so there was my answer.
Perhaps what we need are generic threads about the cabin/seat in general (how does the divider work, where can I put my glasses in CW) and then specific threads about particular seat locations.
