the nearby bridges are also good places to watch from. The 4 lane road will have 1 lane crawling/stopping while the other lanes are just fully parked with cars tailgating and partying like it is a football Sunday. Last year we decided to skip the fireworks and did dinner and hotel. Poor planning when we realized we needed to cross the Han. We happened to be on the Subway line 1 bridge for 3 of the fireworks sessions and it was the perfect spot to watch from. I agree though, do not go to Yeouido. And if taking the subway plan to go to one that hits your stop Before Yeouido.
