My plan is to take BA 780 from LHR (arriving 5:25p) and connecting to AY 646 (departing 6:10p). So there is a 45 minutes to connect. I am doing this because I can get HEL 1 hour earlier than a direct flight from LHR.

I can see award availability on aa.com. I called AA to see if an agent can see availability and she said there is a seat for both flights and the above connection is a "valid connection."

My question is that JL can't see an award space for AY 646 and they told me that MCT at ARN is 1h25m. How could this happen?? I think MCT is around 40 min at ARN

There had been a schedule change and I have more or less of freedom to do route change on my award ticket. This is JL-issued award, so JL needs to see an award space to book me on that flight.
