If it is for one hour, just pick up a car at Sixt Vienna and go get your friends.
Driving without insurance is illegal, very dangerous as it is not only the risks to the car that you need to consider but risk to third parties.
If you damage property or kill or wound somebody, you will need deep pockets to cover the costs, that can amount to millions of Euros.

Sixt's Germany rental conditions state that bringing BMWs/MBs/Audis/etc. into Eastern Europe is not allowed.

Will they penalize me if I do spend about an hour driving around Slovakia? Or does this just mean that any purchased or included LDW/Third Party Insurance is invalidated if something happens to my car? And does anyone know if there is a paid waiver to enable driving in these countries? Seeing as the chance of theft will be negligible, I just might take full risks for damage to the car and drive to Bratislava.
