Genius1, do you really arrive 2h in advance?? With hand baggage and an OLCI boarding pass why would you be there then unless you want a drink in the lounge?

My schedule is such that in the 120 flights I have taken in the past year all over the globe, I doubt that I have ever been anywhere 2h in advance. I got to ABV the other day 90min in advance to get the early BA to LHR and wished I had had another 20min sleep (although don't try that with domestic Y class!).

At home I am really spoilt. I live 15min from GVA on the no 5 bus line. Knowing the bus times (which are every 10min anyway). Because I am normally in CE, I look at BA arrivals on ba.com and now that the work in security is finished (which was a mess), I leave home at 1h 5min before my flight and am at the B31-34 gates 35min before departure.
