My travel agent can hold for 24, if I an upgrade is confirmed they call AA to do the ticketing. AA can do this, an agency cannot. Ive dont it a lot with AA directly in the past prior to using an agent for my travel..

It is my suspicion than AA will loop RM into the transaction so the upgrade is never lost.

Agent doesnt like to do it as it is a PITA, and Ive suspected it cause issues with their $$.
