Really? This type of ad isn't aimed at the type of person who is worried about their SkyMiles balance. This ad is aimed at the infrequent/leisure/family traveler, IMO.
As to their bookings, if someone is concerned about about their mileage program then UA is out as they are implementing the same program as DL. AA is going to be questionable with the merger and the inevitable operational challenges. Then you are left with the LCCs. JetBlue and Southwest have revenue based programs. Spirit and Allegiant are cheap but no reward program to speak of. Virgin is good but limited in route network. Alaska may be the only option but, again, limited route network.
