Was looking at booking some flights between Scandinavia and Europe on Norwegian later this year, and was going to opt for the Low Fares, as they look to be a great price.

However, I noticed that no seat reservation is possible on the lowest fares. Does that mean that your seat gets assigned by Norwegian on the day of departure? Also, what are the chances of the flights being overbooked and not getting a seat - any tips to ensure getting a seat at check-in, when traveling on a reduced fare?

Haven't flown Norwegian before, so any insight would be very helpful!
