I called in and asked about it and simply mentioned "hey, I hear there has been a 50k offer in the past". the CSR confirmed that they are offering it now (i.e the 50k) but only people with elite status at Marriott can get that bonus. Everyone else gets 30k.

Can anyone confirm or refute? I've been waiting for the 50k offer and want a no-FX fee card.
