Compared to DL Medallion Silver, I think United's Premier Silver is superior. With Delta you don't even get The SkyPriority designation on your boarding pass (at least I didn't). And you have to pay for economy comfort seats, with no free assignment at t-24 like United. Basically with Delta your only added benefit over general members is a free checked bag.
