Centurion Travel Service (CTS) experiences
I decided to make this new thread partly because of curiosity on CTS benefits on other countries, and partly to see what we are "not getting" here in Argentina.
I guess CTS is one of the weakest points over here. And sometimes it gets really annoying. But I can't complaint about the actual travel services over here, they are really good travel agents and do a nice job. What I complaint about CTS in Argentina is the "benefits". To start, as other countries, we can't book/price FHR nights online. We have to call CTS and have them book and check. It's pretty annoying since the program is not always the best option to travel, and to make a good research of the best available rates you'd have to call Amex a lot. Another bad side is our airline discounts and benefits, which are minimal (15% off) on the higher fares, so it's never worth it to buy airfares with them. We no longer have the companion ticket (2x1) offer nor the upgrade to first. It's been a while since they removed those and now we only have those small discounts. Actually, the only worth it discount in the past 6+ years has been a Qatar Airways 15% off which works with any fare. Also, "only" Hertz President's Circle membership (USA is getting platinum). One nice thing about CTS in Argentina is that we get free nights in a few boutique and luxury hotels around here every year. It's usually in hotels a few hours away from Buenos Aires, so you end up paying one or two extra nights to make the trip there worth it. But it's still nice.
I'd like to know what other Centurion members from around the world think about their CTS!
