The crew, even during rest, are still considered "on duty". So it would be unfair to compare them to paying members of a premium cabin. There have been threads here about J FA's talking loudly in the galley area, and whether they are on break or not doesn't matter; it doesn't automatically exempt them from any of their normal duties, and as long as they are wearing the uniform, they are a reflection of CX and CX service.
Is this the reason why some crew will wear off duty clothing when they're taking a rest? I've noticed this a couple of times on the KHI-BKK flight where they'll wear something over their uniform.
