For current customers you get a 1,000 point promo for using and booking through the app.

This isnt anything new.

new customers standard is 3,000 bonus for a first booking+ base miles for the hotel stay(usually 1,000 miles)+ app booking for 1,000 miles= 5,000 promo

As far as I can tell you could set up multiple accounts for different FF accounts and using a different email address and you could count as a new customer multiple times.---havent tried it.
