I couldn't agree more. The staff at this hotel is amazing, the rooms are great and the location is fantastic.
I even had the opportunity to meet the GM during my stay (by that I mean she went out of
her way to meet me). She was extremely kind and generous and every member of her staff I spoke with during my visit was nothing less than exceptional. The quality of the hotel is significantly above-average for Le Meridien hotels, the platinum recognition (and breakfast offerings) were great & the standard rooms are larger-than-average, given the prime location.
The only (minor) things I hope this hotel can improve at some point in the future are:
1. Better heat/cooling systems in the room. This is the only real downside as a 4-star hotel shouldn't have an analog thermostat in rooms (which only had notches displayed--no degrees listed)
2. Larger shower stalls (although, to be fair, I've had this issue at most German hotels)
3. More English TV channels. Not a big deal, but they only have like 5 English channels and they're all news/finance
I had such a great stay that I will not visit another hotel in Munich. Amazing service & a very nice hotel are something I value above all else!
**Also, the water pressure in the shower is amazing!
