Recently, I've come across two properties that are perplexing me with their pet policy.

The first is the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego. In particular, the reviews of the property just rip it apart, for being tired, worn and not at a Four Points level. And interestingly, while you can book a room for only using 3,000 points, they don't allow dogs. Completely irrational for such a dumpy property.

The other property is Parker Le Meridien in Palm Springs. Cost there using points is upwards o 12,000 night. The cost to bring in a pet? $150 night per dog. What gives? That's not a "pet friendly" hotel.

And then there are good properties, where they allow the pets, have no extra costs and just have you sign a waiver.
