I'm expecting to lose my MVP Gold status at the end of this year, but should at least make MVP. I was wondering if MVP Gold benefits carry over for flights purchased while I had the status. I called Alaska and specifically asked about the change fee waiver. Alaska said that they will waive the change fee for any flights purchased while I had the MVP Gold status. So I wonder, what about all the other benefits? Can I still be high priority for upgrades if I purchase the flight while I have MVP Gold status? ETc. Etc.

I am planning to purchase as many flights as possible before my MVP Gold status expires to lock in cheaper fares. Why not if there is no change fee?
