Upon checkin, I've regularly seen names truncated by the booking system, middle names missing, etc. Carriers generally apply common sense. I've occasionally had them write in the full name (including middle name) on the boarding pass next to the printed name, but nobody has ever said anything about it one way or another. It seems quite common for small errors like the above. And these experiences are from SIN, by the way. Not sure if you are worried about Tigerair in Singapore or Australia.
