CHICAGO, Oct 11 (Reuters) - Chicago has temporarily suspended a $3.5 billion project to add and reconfigure terminals at O'Hare International Airport after airlines shifted their priorities for capital projects at the airport, a city aviation department spokeswoman said Friday.
Monique Bond, the spokeswoman, said the terminal project, which was scheduled to complete 30 percent of its design phase in December, was postponed because airlines wanted to first pursue a plan to add and revamp runways at the world's second busiest airport.
