Don't use spaces and enter the first 25 characters of first name. For most of the international travel and AMADEUS reservation systems, the last name has more significance and priority over first name. Most of the times, if the last name is too long - the initial of the first name suffices. In fact in all of my previous BPs issued my last name was in full and first name in initial only. Never had any issue.
