Considering a one night stop (maybe more) in Kuwait due to cheap airfare and expiring Marriott certificates. Both Marriott properties appear to be good use of certificates, being Cat 1 and 2 (compared to KWD 66 or 84 for my dates)

Based on wikivoyage I should book 2 rooms as I am traveling with my girlfriend, and it is against the law to share a room for us (we are not married, and not related).

Does anyone have experience traveling to Kuwait, or these properties as an unmarried couple? Presumably this is a law that is not necessarily enforced for "Western" tourists if they keep quiet about their lack of marriage?
