TFB, are you arguing that the general public does not benefit
at all from increased airport security? If so, then, maybe, we should not charge anyone (including air passengers) for increased security.
Or, are you arguing that the general public does not benefit
directly from increased airport security? If so, there are all sorts of services that do not benefit the general public directly that are funded out of government funds.
