I got a car (LEX) that was half full. I wanted to be reimbursed for the advertised refuel fee of $9.15 for the missing fuel. The did reimburse me for the price I paid.
That was a non-event.
I got a Prius in SLC. When I filled it and returned it I was averaging 8.5 MPG. Hertz did credit me for the addition fuel.
So Hertz doesn't do a very good job of filling the car after charging someone (david4455 ) for fuel used.
