As usual, the English is a little cryptic, but it seems like lifetime Diamond Plus and Platinum are exempt and will continue getting coupons every 100,000 miles.

It's a shame they're getting rid of them (I haven't even gotten a chance to use any yet as I usually book non-upgradeable fares). Since the coupons weren't even that generous or easy to use, I wonder how much they're really saving by phasing them out. Maybe it's an accounting issue?

I guess they're in serious cost-cutting mode now. I really hope the cuts don't affect their core services.
