I've been using the Everki Atlas for several months now and I'm happy with it. It can handle my laptop, ipad, external HD, Bose headset, work documents, and assorted cables and chargers and everything has its own place.

I also really like having the carryon handle pass thru so that it rides securely on my carryon as I walk through an airport.
