Time to bring back this thread. Looks like 4 years of no issues until now.

I flew 877 yesterday FRA-YYZ on a 777, IFE worked fine except for the map,
it just brought an error mesage. When I pointed it out to the SD, her told me
that yes, it had been written up in the log several times, and that several
seats had the same issue. No idea why it had not been fixed.
