They don't currently have any operating rights. QF gave them back to IASC in 2008 when they dropped the SFO-YVR tag of QF73/74.
They have to apply for traffic rights again from IASC.
There is no doubt that IASC will give QF the requested rights. However, if they aren't "fully utilised" by the end of March as the application states, then IASC will take them back.
