I don't know what time you plan to travel back to NRT on your way home but if it's early morning you might want to get tickets and reserve seats in advance once you arrive in Japan.

I only ask because I've heard stories about people having issues (credit card) buying tickets through the automated machines due to lack of pin codes on their cards.
For the return trip, we're looking at the N'EX 31 (2:03 PM) from Tokyo Station. Arriving at NRT Terminal 1 at approx. 3:00 PM. Our flight leaves at 5:20 PM. We'll likely reserve seats for this fare in advance since it's pretty certain.
