I am not sure; perhaps they need to run a number of services to maintain their operating rights or, as suggested, someone has chartered enough seats to go there anyway or something

Same as why Qantas ran LHR-MAN services for a while iirc

I think it would be very odd to set up a new route and do a total of 6 services on its own
