@Air Rarotonga - I am currently on US work visa which i will have to get stampped when I go to India. Unless work visa is stammped, I cannot travel through those 3 countries without getting a transit visa.

One more question - I looked at the programs and found out that I could use my AA points on Qatar. Neither Qatar nor Emirates allows me to check for award travel availability unless I have enough points. Can some please check the availability and total points required to travel from HYD to TPA during either last week of DEC or first week of JAN please.

The number of AA miles required for award travel on QR is determined by AA, not by QR. The AA Partner award chart can be found here:

You can call AA and ask about availability on QR.

Note that if you do not connect in Europe, you will pay a little more in AA miles than if you do connect in Europe.
