I have a couple of other BR pieces and love the warranty. I am currently using a Swiss Armey 22 roll aboard and it is working great (also love their warranty). All the Swiss Army backpacks I saw looked like they were mostly made for hiking of looked to young for my taste (I am 55, work in IT consulting, white polo shirt, blue slacks, black shoes, typically my work uniform)
The concept looks like it will be the correct size, have lots of organization pockets, and the side pocket with the bungee looks like it will work for my zojirushi coffee mug (in my opinion best there is).
My concerns are what will the leather accents look like after a couple of years, I work with some senior people, the pictures do not look as professional as the BR, and as I am tough on everything, how good is Everki at honoring their warranty?
I looked on line at timbuk2, Tom Bhin, Arcterx, and a few others.
Any feedback / advice welcome
Oh and I travel every week, so I will bring the 22" roll-aboard and backpack on the plane every week. I bring laptop, bose headphones, umbrella, large x battery, cable pouch, external hard drive, paper notebook, and some other smaller stuff in the laptop bag.
Best
Dave
Welcome to Flyertalk. I am a bit of a bag junkie and have tried lots. I have used Red Oxx and the quality is great. All my rollers are B&R and I love those but find them a bit heavy for carrying on the shoulder. I have recently really been using a medium Timbuk2 messenger. It holds a huge amount if needed and seems very high quality. You can get colors ranging from very conservative, all black for instance, to quite colorful. Another brand I have used in the past and makes absolutely top quality bags here in the US is Waterfield Designs (www.sfbags.com). I have several of their cargo bags and their laptop sleeves are just the best I have seen. I go back and forth a bit with which ones I use.
