BTW, there's so many options when selecting the right train. Some tickets are 32 euro, some are 60 euros, etc. I found that AVE is the fastest (2:40) but how much should I expect for fare. I plan to be there in late December so the train schedule is not out yet.

Is there a specific time frame that I should look out for? Ex, 90 days out or something?
