I have got into the habit of taking screenshots of fare rules, particularly when I think I might have to change/cancel (too much time spent arguing with AA on the phone, mostly

).
Booked an A fare with £200 change or £200 cancellation fee- took a screenshot of the conditions on the BA website. Was checking emails and noticed 'Pax non/ref' endorsement, not entirely sure why it was there.
If I have a screenshot of the rules I agreed to I assume I am protected although I might have to do a bit of arguing? I have no intention of cancelling at the moment but sadly I am a serial last-minute plan-changer for various reasons; I am happy with a £200 penalty if I have to change/cancel. Don't really want to 'phone and be told it is non-refundable because then I think I would have to agree to the 'new' condition?
Any advice or experience is much appreciated- at the moment I just plan to leave it be and deal with it if I need to, but unlike
billinghamn I would at least slightly miss £3.5k if it disappeared into thin air...
