I am have to fly to the Usa and South America 2 times in the coming months and since Thai offers the cheapest nonstop fares i thinking of using them for part of the journey.From what i read here that Thai offers upgrades to c class at the airport on the day of departure and i was wondering if anyone could give the cost they ask for this sector and what usually the chances are that they will offer these upgrades(i am travelling in oct and the end of nov).Does anyone what time the check in counters open for these flight at ICN and LAX so i can be one the first to arrive? And for one the flights i will make a same day connection to a LAN flight at LAX with a layover of 5 and half hours is there any chance that Thai will be able to check me in all the way when i depart at ICN?
