There's a slight loophole. Will PM you two shortly on this.
Edit 10:30PM: can't PM you svellmann. You have to enable PMing in your FT account.

Reward points are evergreen so only redeem when you need it. Aim to redeem over 30,000 miles for max $300 fee.

3.

Designated Merchant Categories are subject to the definition of Visa, MasterCard International and China UnionPay's Merchant Data Standards and the settings of the Acquiring Bank. Qualified Transactions made by principal and supplementary Cardholder(s) of the same Eligible Card account are counted collectively in calculating the Points.

After I had met the spending quota for the PM welcome offer, I emailed them and they credited those points.
First year fee waiver on the Premiermiles and the Rewards. This is not the HSBC Visa Signature, Amex Platinum Credit or Charge or Centurion.
