Checked Baggage (domestic)

Maximum number of 2 checked pieces per ticketed customer that adhere to the following size (measured in linear inches or centimeters, total length + width + height) and weight dimensions:

1st bag not to exceed 70 lbs (31 kg) or 62 linear inches (157 cm)
2nd bag not to exceed 70 lbs (31 kg) or 62 linear inches (157 cm) </font>
Is it just me or does this seem to be reasonable? Two bags of this size can carry a lot.

I have often seen people with enormous overstuffed bags draging them to the check in. This is an extra service that the airline provides and they have the right to charge a reasonable fee for it.

What a reasonable fee is is open to debate but certainly they don't have the obligation to transport an unlimited amount of stuff.
