You do occasionally see a fleet's crew operating another fleets flight. e.g. in April on LGW to BGI we had a LHR fleet operating the flight.
The flexible nature of MF's scheduling agreements often mean they pick up ad hoc flights from other fleets at both LHR and LGW when there are shortages elsewhere.
Hence their nickname. "Thunderbird fleet... International rescue"
