Hi!

Planning to be in Barcelona for 4 days and head to Madrid for 3 more. BA is showing Award flights (4,500 miles/person) with a fee of $86 for three people.

Is plane the most efficient and best value transportation? Or trian better (research tells me it's about 2:40 ride). We have two adults and one 3 year old in the party.

Never been to Spain so not sure how convenient each arrival (airport or train station) point is heading to the city center.

Seems like trains are not that cheap as well but wanted to ask Spain experts before booking the flight (never used ground within Europe not sure what to expect).
