Imagine my surprise to see the charge showing up on my CC bill as a "DIRECT MARKETING - CATALOG" category charge. So no bonus points for using the card at a Hilton property
I called Citibank and they confirmed I would get only 1 point per $ (and not the 7 points that I expected) for this charge.
Now what can I do?
Call them back. If you get the same answer, ask to speak to a supervisor.. Surely you can speak to someone with some common sense!
