Haven't seen this posted in a long time:

Last nite I booked the following (my return trip):

EUR/AMS/ATL/RSW/ATL/PIT
(reason being that the fare to RSW was much cheaper than straight to PIT)
(YES, it's gonna be a looooong day! )

I didn't realize that the ATL/RSW/ATL is the same flight number - and probably plane, too, with a 51 minute turnaround.

So, there's a fare break: EUR/RSW & RSW/PIT

Does anyone think I'll have problems getting flight credit from ATL/RSW/ATL with the same flight number? Surely, it won't net out to "zero" miles, will it? What about UGs?
