I have never (as far as I remember) gone out of my way to defend BA on here. However I have very often agreed with those that are being accused of being apologists. On various forums I frequent, covering a wide variety of topics, there's nothing that winds me up more than the self centred, oh so justified, whingers who blame anyone and everyone for anything that is not totally to their liking, never considering for a moment that their expectations may be unrealistic, or that they may (gasp) bear some responsibility themselves. Alternatively they sometimes seem to think they deserve a personal apology from the MD/CEO/King/Queen/President for the most trivial of issues.

I don't dispute for a minute that some criticism of BA (or of anything) is justified, but in most Internet forums I would hazard a guess that the unjustified outweighs it by a ratio somewhere in the region of 10/1.
