Personally I don't think chasing non-posting of these sort of welcome amenity bonus points puts your account at risk, especially if you haven't got any codes on the account that you shouldn't have! I always chase up direct with the property and IME leads to a very prompt resolution.
The bonus is open to all members---even on award stays.
If missed simply e-mail the hotel. Points will be credited manually--- usually with a personal e-mail confirming their having been posted.
That's my experience.
